Saadia Faouzi, MFT, PhD


I received my Masters (M.A.) degree in Counseling Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology (Sophia University) in Palo Alto and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California. I also hold a doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in Biological and Medical Sciences from Bordeaux University, France.

I am bilingual and multicultural. I provide therapy services in English and French. I am familiar with European, Middle Eastern and North African cultures.

I have over ten years’ experience in various mental health positions and working with diverse populations and a myriad of issues. My experience includes providing therapy, providing clinical supervision to therapists in training and managing clinical programs. I also have experience working as a research scientist in both academia and the biotech industry.

I accumulated my clinical experience working with children, teens, adults and families in multiple settings such as non-profit agencies, schools and private practice. I gained training and experience working for Support Network for Battered Women, Women in Community Service, Ravenswood School District, EMQ Families First, Community Solutions and Mountain View Therapy.

I am a member of multiple professional organizations:
